To compliment our Professional Assessment of Competence and NVQ programmes Busec now offer Employment Law and Recruitment and Selection workshops.

Both these programmes are ILM endorsed which means that there is an element of assessment for all delegates on the programme.  This gives employers the confidence that not only have their people been on the course but their skills and knowledge have been assessed and they have met a certain standard.

The courses will both be delivered by specialists in their field.

Programme Objectives

Recruitment and Selection

Programme Objectives

• Knowledge of key legislation and an understanding of how it applies to recruitment
• Identify appropriate selection criteria for a particular  job role
• Design and effectively use a relevant  selection process
• Make objective and fair recruitment decisions 

Intended Participants

Line managers with responsibility for recruitment, HR staff for whom recruitment and selection is a core part of their job role, other employees who take part in recruitment and selection processes, aspiring managers.

Sally Tarrant will facilitate the recruitment & Selection programme.

Sally has broad experience of R & S: through delivery of large scale graduate recruitment programmes, design of assessment centres and as a line manager .

Venues

We can offer open programmes or in-house delivery.  With in-house delivery there is always the option to tailor the programme more specifically to the requirements of your organisation.  For open programmes delivery will be based at a purpose built training venue Rkadia, which provides easy access from A3, between junction 1 and 2.
